NutriStart™ was founded in August of 1997 to provide people with balanced nutrition for their busy lifestyles. Everything created at NutriStart is based on the latest nutritional research and information.

Discussions:
Nutristart has taken advantage of our creative offerings to promote their products to great success again and again. From initial web site/product packaging design, including photography and image creation, to print advertisments and branding exercises, Nutristart recognizes the necessity of quality artisanship and a dedication to craft that is required to promote the most professional and confident image. It was decided that Nutristart would refrain from implementing e-commerce directly and support their client base through the natural health food stores and any web efforts they may themselves undertake. The main purpose of the web development was to promote brand awareness and in-depth product information. A monthly newsletter attracts large amounts of traffic back to the site as well as do the inbound links to the well written and concise articles. The CMS is coded from scratch in PHP utilizing a MySQL data base for efficiency and is replete of extraneous processes and functionality. The long term plan is one of web branding and taking advantage of advertising opportunities through their print efforts and discussion blog.
Outcomes and Conclusions:
With growing success online and an ever-increasing brand awareness push, Nutristart is aimed for longevity and consistent growth in a not-so-robust economy. With ever-increasing sales from a growing customer base, Nutristart will continue to rely on Chris Hart Design for consultation and design direction.
